well, the BEST thing you can do is try a reduced dose or completely stop the offending medicine. But, lacking that...Inderal (propranolol) is used in low to moderate doses for akathasia. Benzos are also used, only or in conjunction with propranolol...the big ones for this purpose seem to be Klonopin and Ativan. Anti-Parkinson's drugs such as Mirapex or Cogentin can also be used.
