Hello. New to babble. I have been on Paxil for a couple of years and used to think it was a miracle drug. I started feeling bad again (overwhelmed, anxiety, mood swings, angry all the time, sleeplessness) and went to see a Psychiatrist. He diagnosed me as Type II bipolar, upped the Paxil dosage and started me on Lithium. In the past month, I've been waking up soaked in sweat, had terrible nightmares, more moody than ever, bursts of anger and severe depression, lots of rotten feelings. I went to see my doctor, he lowered the Paxil (horrific side effects), kept me on the Lithium and added Seroquel. This stuff makes me feel like I'm drunk and out of control. I hate it. I feel like I am coming unglued. Does anyone have any suggestions? I feel like the effects of the medication are so much worse than how I was feeling on my own, that I should flush them all and just work out more, find a Yogi. However, I have tried to stop taking Paxil, cold turkey, and I was so sick and so dizzy, I could hardly stand up. What to do, what to do.........
