It seems I have posted regarding this side-effect about four times in the last month and have never really discussed it before ;-)

I have been on meds for years, and specifically on Effexor for a little more than two years, and this side-effect has not gone away. Night sweats, every night, without ceasing, have found no remedy.

I have a pet theory regarding the night sweats being a result of mild withdrawal syndrome, so I tried changing the timing of my Effexor dosages. This has resulted in incredibly bad sleep and feeling like absolute crap during the day but seemed to lessen the night sweating, of course, I wasn't even sleeping and I then had hot flashes and sweating during the day (doh!).

I live in Minnesota, where it is quite cold during the winter months, but here I am, drenched and shivering every morning. Oh well. I sleep with minimal clothing, and try not to overdue the blankets and I keep an extra blanket next to the bed to wrap up in when I wake-up all cold and soaking wet.
