Johnnny, the second week of lamictal was the best i had felt in 3 years, depression lifted. In others it may take much longer to build in the blood, but antidepressant effects are noted quite quickly.
I just can't get past the 50mgs because of the headaches, but other than that it's great. Oh yeah, and waking up at insane hours full of energy. But it was better than wanting to sleep all day in depression.
