Mitch: Getting the right mix

Posted by smith562 on January 3, 2005, at 12:06:17

Hey Mitch/Everyone,

Still doing well with 75 zoloft/1 klono/450 lithium/100 wellbutrin ... although some depression has creaped back (was on 100 of zoloft). How do you stop juggling meds and doses? (Just Pick the side effect you willing to deal with and stop titrating the meds?)

For example, wellbutrin gives me motivation, but irritability. Zoloft relieves depression, but makes me apathetic. Klonopin relieves anxiety, but ruines my memory. Lithium smooths things out, but make me blah.

I will do things like if a work project is due, increase my wellbutrin and lower my klonopin. I get tons of work done, but all my friend notice I get irritable and withdraw .... is there a way to find a mix where you are *sociable* and *motivated* and *euthemic* (I can't seem to find it)

Thanks,

Smith

PS Maybe it is impossible for anyone to be "Superman" ..... life of the party, smart, motivated, empathetic???
