you think methylphenidate is a better AD than imipramine??!?

Ritalin is driving me up the wall with anxiety.

I take 75 mg nortriptyline, and if nortrip is potentiating the Ritalin, then the Ritalin would be entirely useless for me without the TCA. As it is, the Ritalin is bad enough.

What I've read in Adderall PI notices is that TCA's can cause striking increases in CNS concentrations of amphetamines, which does not sound like a good thing at all. I get the feeling from my pdoc, and from my scan of the literature, that methylphenidate is a safer combination with TCA's. But either I'll have to ditch the Ritalin, or try a more anxiolytic TCA (Anafranil).
