I have treatment resistant depression and have been on more drugs and combos than I can possibly remember. For the most part, nothing has worked for me on any sort of long-term basis.
Today (Nov. 3, 2004) I am adding Mirapex to my medication regimen and I intend to keep a diary through this message board telling the results.
Here is my current regimine, which at this point (about 5 weeks in) is doing little to nothing to relieve my depression:
Cymbalta 60mg in A.M.
Wellbutrin SR 300mg in A.M.
Zyprexa 5mg in P.M.
Ambien (10-20mg) OR Prosom (2-4mg) as needed for sleepMy starting dose with Mirapex is 0.125mg three times daily. I usually adapt to medications very quickly and so I will probably have to increase the dosage; however, I am sticking to this dosage for a minimum of 5 days.
I will update tomorrow after one day on Mirapex. I welcome any info or comments related to using Mirapex to combat depression and especially anhedonia.
Thanks!
