Inderal for PTSD?

I've seen a couple of news items lately regarding how to treat PTSD, specifically flashbacks, using Inderal. What I also noticed was that the drug needed to be administered right after the traumatic event. This sounds downright difficult to do, except in obvious cases, i.e. rape and injury.

Has anyone been treated with a beta blocker for trauma? Right after the trauma? Perhaps much later after the traumatic event? Did it help or lessen the flashbacks?
