Matt, I've heard that dexedrine causes less social anxiety mostly as anecdotal from this site. The levo-amphetamine in Adderall is supposed to be the cause of the anxiety due to it's pro peripheral nervous system stimulation as opposed to dextro-amphetamine in dexedrine which works more so on the CNS.Adderall supposedly causes more anger, irritability, and fast heartrate issues as well.
It's really a matter of preference. Supposedly dexedrine spansules create more of a drop off than Adderall XR, so some people find Adderall smoother in that regard.
It's worth a try to experiment anyways. There's been some rumours that Dexedrine is actually a better drug but Adderall has been marketed better and has better options in terms of pill sizes (5,10, 20, 30).
