Hi CarrieJane,

Blood pressure monitoring is probably the best way to see where you are with your doseage. As you increase it, your blood pressure will raise when Effexor begins to increase norepinephrine. Most people take it in the 75mg to 225mg dosage, but you can go up 375mg with close attention paid by your doctor.
