The effects seem to vary tremendously according to the individual. I never noticed much of an interaction with alcohol myself when I was on Zoloft. Of course, it is always a good idea to excercise caution when consuming alcoholic beverages on drugs like this. I'm not sure a flat out prohibition of drinking alcohol is necessarily warranted or realistic, however.
