For me it helped me stop drinking, maybe it was helping for the obsession of alcohol, etc.

I quit taking it 3 months into sobriety because of sexual side effects but loved Paxil. Drinking offset the sexual sides of Paxil but for obvious reasons, alcohol is not a good augmenter.

Prozac made me want to twist off and "drug seek."
