I have pump-dependent gastroparesis but take klonipin as an adjunctive therapy for both seizure control and mood stabilization, and it doesn't upset my stomach or GI system (and nearly everything does). In fact, it's just the opposite. It actually seems to quell nausea a bit.

I was on xanax a few years ago and would never take it again both because of the stomach-tearing-up feelings on it and after coming off of it ... constant, awful in-your-throat nausea; diarrhea; vomiting. It lasted a good week, I'd say. I would never take it again.

Maybe your body is just adjusting, as someone else said, to the switch. We all respond differently.
