Thanks ESB,
Actually this week in my Endocrinologist appt mentioned potentially changing from Synthroiid to Armour Throid after we get the blood tests back.
He also mentioned Cytomel(sp?)
Said though that Cytomel can be messy at the beginning because of the time it takes to get to the correct dosage, etc.
I appreciate the feedback. Let's hope something comes up in the tests that come back.

Synthyroid only provides you with T4 for your thyroid conidition and not T3, which is actually the most metabolically active form of thyroid hormone. Armour Thyroid will provide you with T4, T3, T2, and T1. Your endocrynologist might not be too keen on trying Armour Thyroid because medical science is more commercially driven that rationally and/or scientifically driven.

I don't want to increase my Effexor as eventually my goal was to eliminatethat. I have made an appt with the Endocrinologist this week to get control again and I would like to be prepared with experiences of the group prior to my visit.
