Neurontin Causing Stimulant Effect?

I've been on Neurontin now, up to 600mg 3x daily, for a couple weeks. I also take dexadrine for ADHD, for organization and motivation....Today I skipped my dexadrine and yet the Neurontin seems to be keeping me feeling very motivated; is this common? Thanks a lot.
