Geodon for Bi-Polar Disorder

I am observing a family member who was prescribed Geodon after taking Lithium for over 30 years. Mood Changed from quiet and snappy to excited and happy...Who has an idea on a proper dosage? I think this person might need a little more..this med was prescribed as: Take one at night and prn for mania... 80 mg caps. No complaints on this drug action though..The happiness and freedom that I see in this beautiful person is remarkable..I am finding adjusting to this new personality is like having someone TOTALLY different in my life...
