Seroquel causes Somnolence.

Seroquel & Zyprexa are very potent antihistamines which is why they are sedating. While you are not asleep, you are probably experiencing somnolence, which is a feeling of wanting to do nothing. After a period of time, you will build tolerance to this & become more normal.

IMHO, Low dose Risperdal would be a more suitable AP for anxiety, but if you have no psychotic symptoms, you would be better served with a sedating AD such as Remeron, Trazodone and some of the TCA's.

Cheers,
Panda.
