Mr Chemist,
Have you ever heard of clorazepate?
I've read and heard from others that a single dose of clorazepate works longer for anxiety than an equal strength single dose of Valium or Klonopin.
Is that true?
...i have personally had success with qd dosing of valium for anxiety, in various dosing ranges. as with most if not all drugs, personal variations are to be expected, and there are options (e.g., klonopin) that might be more attractive than valium for maintaining relief from general anxiety. my long-time favourite and current variation on this theme is alprazolam (xanax), taken in divided doses throughout the day. i do hope this answers your query, and do consult your doctor, of course, should you decide to give valium or any medication a trial run....all the best, chemist
