side effects if take meds at wrong times?

Posted by captain on August 16, 2004, at 13:56:02

Hi all,

I am notoriously horrible when it comes to taking medication on a daily basis at the same time each day. I have been taking lexapro for anxiety for about 3 months and at first i was taking it in the morning all the time and found I rarely forgot as I could remind myself with my work email calendar.

I found that I was having a hard time falling asleep at night and a harder time waking up. My usual sleep patterns were just the opposite so after suggestions of switching to evening - I found that it helped my sleeping but I have found that i forget to take it at least 3 nights a week!

I have found that in the past few weeks i have been somewhat dizzy at different times during the day and wonder if it is because of my sporadic timing with taking the meds. Does anyone know? I don't know much about why you are supposed to take things at the same time but just that you should!

Please let me know!
Captain
