Hi Possibility -

I'm currently taking Effexor. I switched to it from Remeron.

I didn't notice much change from the Remeron until my pdoc added Zyprexa to the mix. I'm presently taking 150mg of Effexor with 7.5 mg of Zyprexa (I have to cut the 5mg in half, so I take a 5mg with an additional half tablet). This is the best combination I have taken in a while. I imagine that my physician will increase the doseage of one of the products during my next visit.

Fortunately for me, I've never had a withdrawal problem when switching from one antidepressant to another, and I've taken quite a few over the past twenty some odd years.

Here in Georgia, we currently have commercials going on where a law firm is trying to put together a class action suit against Zyprexa because they claim some people who have taken it have developed diabetes and pancreatitis. Because my depression without treatment can be severe, it is well worth the risk to me to continue with my treatment.

Good luck with it --- I hope it works as well for you as it has for me!

Charm
