I've had a problem with major sleepiness for years, and I don't need more of that. Plus, I've not had much libido or sexual function either, and Nardil is worse about causing sexual dysfunction.
> Any thouhts on Parnate and MAOIs?Hi,
Nardil & Parnate are the very best of AD's & Parnate is probably the first one to try primarily because it is one of the very rare AD's that are weight neutral. The tendency is for Nardil to be more sedating due to it's anxiolytic qualities but it can still cause insomnia. Nardil tends to lower blood pressure, but it can go either way on Parnate.
