> LinkadgeOh, if that involves those connections being completely severed, in particular, i would imagine that one's motivation, high-stress situational energy (if not overall energy), recall of certain types of memories, and other important cognitive and/or emotional qualities (such as concentration?) would be severely reduced after such an operation, though. i could see it potentially being very effective for panic disorder & other anxiety disorders, OCD, and certain types of depression, but i wonder how severe and widespread the side effects would be.
