Go for it. Klonopin has more evidence for efficacy for SAD than any other benzo and less dependency/withdrawl problems. If you use 3-4 times/week, you very likely can avoid dependency, if that's your concern. I'm not sure 0.5 -0.75 will do it, however. You might have to go up to 1.0 mg or so. I use it as-needed (no dependency with almost 2 years of use)and have contemplated going on it full-time because it works so well. I vary dosage to match my anticipated level of anxiety (anywhere from 0.5 to 2.0 mg).
