> HI Greywolf, no I have never personally taken Stablon (tianeptine). However I have this understanding: It is a serotonin accelerator versus an uptake inhibitor. I do know that it is a French anti-depressant.It's action is the reverse of what an ssri might be. I would post a link to a website that tells you plenty about this drug but Because of Dr. Bob's Rules re: meds that are not approved here in the US I will not suggest the link. What I could recomend is that If you don't live in the US and are interested in this med and it's mode of anti-depressant properties, you can simply do a search for Stablon or (tianeptine) and you shouldget plenty of info on this drug!

> SnapperI don't think Dr. Bob prohibits discussion of meds not available in the United States at all. He once moved my thread about another foreign med from a different part of the site to this part
with no warning to not make such a thread. He does not want this to be a drugbuyers club network for meds.
I think he is more against the dubious nature of procuring drugs from overseas and the lack of supervision many people would have while using them. Also, some psych meds are controlled substances that are not allowed to be shipped through the mail from other countries.
I think you can discuss meds and their effects but don't tell or ask someone where to buy something from an unregulated overseas pharmacy.
