It took me along time to increase from 15mg to 30mg as it was just making me very irritable & cranky withing 30 minutes of taking it. The key was to increase my Effexor from 150mg to 225mg at the same time. I had huge nausea trying to get to 225mg without increasing Remeron.

I did notice that it was suddenly easier to get up & do things after the dose increase, I hope that comes back after I loose this cold & sore throat. I've had 2 colds in the last 3 weeks(it's autumn here & warm)... I think I might ask my doc for a white cell count as Remeron, like it's brother Mianserin, has a low risk of agranulocytosis.

I play a fair bit of Quake & it requires alot of concentration & hand-eye co-ordiniation, milliseconds make the difference between winning & losing & if I was having any mental problems I would know instantly. I have no problem with memory. The only problem I have is sometimes words can look like giberish, when I am typing a message sometimes I have to use the spell checker too much as normal words just look spelt wrong, but this doesn't happen everyday. I'm mostly happy, just need some motivation.
Cheers,
