> I start taking desiprmine 2 days ago, first day I took before bed 5mg, I slept good. Second day ( yesterday), I took 5 mg in the morning and 5mg before bed. I really like this meds, I felt good right after I took it every time, It make me feel calm ( emotionally ) and motiveted, plus able to concentate to read or do any house work. But last night, I was constantly wake up, after being able to back to sleep ,had lots of vivid dreams ( not bad dream though),then wake up again almost every hour. This morning since 6:00am , I was lay in bed , feel tired , don't feel like to get up until I took another 5mg Desipramine, I could get up 5 minutes later after I took my med.
> After self education , I think I'm Depression and anxity induced ADD, ( I went to tons of psychotrist in past 5 yeas, no one give me any test, and every one had different diagnose for me, I got conclusion that I need take control of my heath myself, so I start research and learning on internet ) . My current psychotrist is at least very nice about to listen to me and ask me what meds I want to try.

> P.S. I also took 1-1.5mg klonopin through the day, Klonopin doen't help me sleep at all in my past experience. I want tape off it eventually. it will be a long time to achive that goal . ( I have been takeing klonopin for more than 5 years, I developed both emotional and physical dependence )
Given the low dosage of desipramine and the limited amount of time you've been on it, I would not read too much into one bad night's sleep. It could just be a coincidence. It can be hard at times to distinguish real drug actions from things that might have happened anyway without taking anything.Todd
