AD's and Benydryl

i heard something before about the effects of Benydryl on AD's, but what does it do? In my case I am on Effexor 150mg, and I occasionally take it at night to sleep, and I wake up in a little different mood, sometimes I actuall get withdrawl symptoms from my AD eventhough I have not stopped taking it
