>Hi Dana,
I take Remeron for sleep & SSRI side effects. Unfortunately Trimipramine, Remeron & Seroquel all cause sedation my blocking Histame(H1) recptors in the brain which is also believed to be responsible for carb cravings & subsequent weight gain. Not too long ago there was a thread about using Zantac antacid which is a H2 blocker in the stomach to prevent card cravings caused by these meds.
Cheers,
Panda.
