My doc said "STOP taking the Lexapro right now" and started me on Carbatrol for BiPolar Disorder/Mild -to-Moderate symptoms. This is after 3 years of treatment with SSRI's. I am also on Klonopin and Neurontin which are ALL anti-seizure drugs. I am a MESS. Withdrawal from SSRI's? Side effects of Carbatrol? I'm anxious, crying, dizzy, unsteady, horrible dreams, etc. I'm 6 days into Lexapro withdrawal...but how much longer? ALL I want is to feel NORMAL....not happy, or joyous, just NORMAL!!
