***** I'm on Seroquel. I take it for my bipolar disorder. Without the Seroquel I get paranoid thoughts and have hallucinations (I even have some break through hallucinations when I'm very stressed out). So yes I want the activating effect to help me during the day so I don't feel so tired and unmotivated.I took Topomax for my mood stabilizer for I think about 2 and 1/2 years and just now on 1/12/04 was switched to Zonegran. Topomax was good for me as a mood stabilizer but I did have VERY bad hair loss the entire time I was on it even with taking the vitamins that are suppose to help. But if the Zonegran doesn't work I'll go back on the Topomax and live with the massive hair loss.
