Will13,

I took Lustral (Zoloft) 50mg for about 8 weeks and it didn't help at all. My doctor then raised this to 100mg but even then I hardly felt any benefit from the drug whatsoever. I think it's the only antidepressant I have taken which has not helped me in some way or another.

However some people find Lustral/Zoloft to be really helpful. It's just a case of trying different drugs, and seeing which one works for you the best. I had a much better response to Seroxat 30mg. But even then I had to wait around three or four weeks before I experienced any real improvement.

Give the Lustral/Abilify time to work. If after five or six weeks you feel no improvement, get back to your doctor and ask to try something different.
