You may have some mild visual hallucinations when starting a serotogenic medication. Generally they go away as the medication starts to work, when the 5ht2a receptor downregulates itself.

If the zaps continue, you may want to speak to your doctor. Generally, the first month you may have side effects that make you reconsider your decision, generally these thoughts come before the antidepressant effect is evedent, when you can fully ballence the pro's and con's.

Its a tought choice, but if you're really suffering, then you need to consider waiting things out.
