Hello, all.
Started Strattera about a month ago after stopping Wellbutrin. Have been a classic ADDhead all my life, and have also struggled with depression, which I am certian in my case is related to the frustrations and stresses of ADD. I participated in a study ten years ago, and took Ritalin for nearly a year. It worked for the ADD, but it made me much too hyper; almost manic...and I lost too much weight. I'm a middle aged woman, and so didn't think too much about the hot-cold thing, but now you mention it, I have had more hot flashes, and I do get a little icy now and then. I have also felt some fatigue, but that is lessening. I have to say the disadvantages are worth it, because I am noticing a marked improvement in my ability to discipline my day, to set priorities, and to walk past the things that aren't done to stay with the thing I am doing. I am not a big drinker, but I love a glass of wine or two with dinner once or twice a week, and I am finding that I have to be very careful...if I have a third, I am likely to have a wretched hangover the next morning...sinus headache and upset tummy. Anybody else having this experience? And do you find that exercise helps the fatigue? Thanks!
