Thanks a lot for your reply. This is all very new to me...I tried to stay away from any doctor as much as I could for my whole life...besides when I had to go to one..but it didn't work too well for me to not see one..=)

My GP used to prescribe me mood altering meds for years before I went to my Pdoc. Problem with that is that a GP is, well, JUST THAT, and NOT a specialist, so they are likely to scribe what the latest journal spews out as efficacious w/o doing the long-term first hand experince knowledge of a patient's complete mental health needs. Mental health treatment is neither meds nor counseling alone, but a synergistic combination of both. Some may do OK with one or the other for simple problems, or situational depression, but for the rest of us...NO! As for your specific question on sexual drive, WB does INDEED help promote sexual desire. Many SSRI meds have that terrible SE of killing sex drive. I have read only a little about Lexapro's SE, but I have seen some mention of SOME sexual SE, but less than other meds in its class. The combination of the two meds may not affect your drive negatively, but only you will know that for sure.
