id honestly say that increasing an anti-psychotic (or any psychological medication) for its zombie style sedating effects is insanity. my last p-doc (very cooky, who i got rid of and found a cool p-doc) prescribed me risperdal for my insomnia and slight paramoia (my least important issues)i felt like shit and still couldnt sleep so i stoped it after 2 weeks. for me anti-psychotics are almost unbareable. They drain my creative energy (im a musician) right out of me and make me a zombie. not to metion i was on adderal for my add, which she knew, and the combination of an maoi and amphetimine is extremely dangerous. i will never try another anti-psychotic, i am who i am and as long as im not deppressed im happy about myself, my individuality and my uniqueness (even if my uniqueness is because of a slightly psychotic mental issue). as for sleep issues unless you need more meds for mental reasons i would try the herb valerian or the suppliment melatonin they both work for me. in the case of using ambian regularaly it will make you medicly dependant but remember all of us are medicly dependant. ambien will not really muck with your brain chemistry at all compared to raising your dose of anti-psychotics.
