Yes - it is actually possible. I've been on Paxil 40mg for 5 years. In the first year I gained about 7kg. I joined a gym and after about 2 months only lost 2kg. I pretty much gave up losing the rest of the weight until about 6 months ago. I joined a gym again - and despite working out intensely I still didn't lose any weight. I talked to one of the gym instructors and she asked if I ate healthily. I had to admit that I kind of saw working out regularly as a good excuse to eat whatever I wanted. I decided to try dieting as a last resort. It was really hard as I've been skinny all my life and basically been able to eat what I wanted without gaining weight - until I started on Paxil. But it worked. I finally lost the 5kg and got back to my pre-Paxil weight. I've come to the conclusion that as long as I'm on Paxil I'm going to have to be careful about what I eat. :(

Anyway - it IS possible.

Jackie
