Prozac was the best for me. I could not tolerate Zoloft (bad tremor, and it made my OCD about 10x worse! I couldn't deal with the initial effects and stopped after a month). Effexor helped some, not as much as prozac though which was AWESOME...but Effexor did not start working for me until I hit 300 mg, and I found I needed 400-450 for really noticeable improvement. OCD typically needs higher doses of antidepressants than other disorders, and my dr at the time I was on Effexor told me that my response was normal for an OCD person (i.e. my needing a high dose of Effexor).

So yeah, caleb, try upping your dose a bit more.

Rainee, I'm not totally clear about what you are wondering, but I *personally* found prozac the best.
