Well, I contemplated that for several moments before I posted it - and even had my husband roll over from his side of the office to preview my post.
I have read several posts from folks discussing their, shall we say, frustrations from SSRI's (guys included). As an SSRI veteran I can not only relate, but sympathize in a heart-felt way.
Being a first-born "fixer" type I often have to restrain myself from extolling the virtues of various products/services, etc. that I have found to be useful in my own life.
Since I don't own stock in said company and wasn't being pornographic in my description I felt it was nothing more than a public service announcement.
I'm experimenting with magnesium right now, thanks to all the information on another thread, so I felt this might be a useful contribution.
Now, I'm feeling rather anal - like I should go back and find all the references that people have made regarding the sexual side effects of SSRI's - as an attempt to validate my post. BUT, I don't think that's healthy behavior (on my part), so I shall refrain.
I must say again that my post was made out of the pure and simple desire to pass along information to others that has been helpful to me. There's a list of products a foot long that I can't live without and I've usually found them through trial and error (and a lot of expense).
So, we shall see what happens.
I really don't think my post was lacking in civility. Actually, I thought it was not only civil, but civic-minded.
Cheers!
