I think the real doseage window is between 100 to 200 mg. After that, it doesn't work. I take 150 in the am (break apart a 100 into 2 50s), and then 50 in the afternoon. It does not matter how late you take it; fighter pilots take it and then when they return to base and try to sleep, they have no problems. It doesn't interfere, for example, if I want to nap during the day, like if I've been sick or something else is running me down. There have been stories of taking 1000 (thousand) mg per day on this site, but that is NOT the doseage window, and I would advise strongly against going anywhere near as high as that...
A friend told me her psychopharm doctor recommended the 100 to 200 mg dose. I experimented with a bit more, but lost any of the good effects I was getting at the lower dose.Good luck --
