clonidine and amitriptaline???????????????????????

husband takes clonidine for paxil withdrawals, dr has him on amitriptiline now, please post of any problems anyone has had..also amitriptiline is a cousin of paxil? will that eliminate the paxil withdrawl symptoms????? Would that mean tha he can stop the clonidine????????????????????????
