Lamictal BPI, Dr. Bowden

Dr. Bowden,
What's your perspective on using lamictal w/BPI (re:hypomania)? Have tried it once (at low doses) and felt it made me hypomanic. But am trying again (at 25 mg so far) because seems to help me right away re:mild depression, clarity of thinking. Maybe I didn't give it a fair chance. Also am taking depacote w/it--1250mg. Any comments?
