My experience with Ambien...............

Hi, I just wanted to post this. I know that Ambien is normally used for SHORT TERM insomnia. I got myself in a mess last summer by taking up an offer on someone who was taking Ambien. I took one, didn't do much, then 2, then 3, and ended up in the ER with horrible, frightening chest pain. This occurred over a period of 3 days. It was my fault as I have a rather addictive personality-if I don't feel the effects of a med that will help me sleep, or in the past, alcohol shots that haven't given me a buzz yet, I do more, I have never touched Ambien since.
My point, please, please be careful, and try not to take a medication that isn't prescribed for YOU-I learned the hard way. Just wanted to share:-)Comments would be great.
