Hi I was just reading some of the posted messages on abilify. My daughter has now been on it for one month. We see her psdoc tomorrow. I still am not seeing the results I had hoped for her. With her being mentally challenged it is difficult to know exactly what she is experiencing.

This is why I am so grateful for this site and for all of you sharing your experiences on Abilify.

She is still very agitated at times. She sometimes yells and is grabbing people at her day hab program. I have been giving the xanax at bedtime as well as the cogentin. Both are to make her less agitated. But still she is.

We see her psdoc tomorrow and really would like for him to try and increase it to 15mg and see if it helps. There is slight improvement but not enough yet.

I ask her if she still hears voices sometimes she answers yes and sometimes she says no she doesn't hear voices any more, so it is difficult because she is not expressing what she is feeling. If I knew what she was feeling it would be easier for me to relate this to her psdoc.

Oh well we shall see what tomorrow brings, thanks again everyone for sharing. Any suggestions again would be helpful.
