Sam-e, Remeron, theory behind these

Posted by disney4 on January 16, 2003, at 15:16:34

Has anyone stuck with Sam-e when they experienced the SE of fatigue? I discontinued it because of fatigue, but now I am rethinking it. Don't many AD's cause fatigue as a SE, yet still work very well? Could the fatigue wear off after the first couple of months? Mine lasted a month, and I am still not sure if it lessened my depression, but maybe I needed to be on it a while longer. I also discontinued remeron for fatigue as well as a fear of weight gain, but I also had some other SE's, but the Sam-e was very mild in comparison. I have read that Sam-e is usually activating, but aren't many AD's associated with alternate reactions depending upon our chemical make up. Please comment.
