That was probably THE main reason I quit Zoloft. It was good for my depression, but the cognitive problems were VERY dysfunctional for me and ended up not being a good trade-off for me. The concentration / memory problems were not transient symptoms for me -- they were constant and got worse on higher doses. All of the SSRI's tended to do this to me, some worse than others. The ones that weren't so bad cognitively also weren't as effective for the depression.

I'm now on Remeron -- not that I'm recommending that for you -- but I do not have the cognitive side-effects with this drug and my last performance eval. at work really showed the difference!
