Re: allergic reaction to wellbutrin

In reply to allergic reaction to wellbutrin, posted by Red One on November 6, 2002, at 21:07:30

I tried Wellbutrin a few years ago and had an allergic reaction. Within a few hours of taking it, I broke out in hives all over my body. I didn't notice any on my tounge, but...
My doc urged me to continue the drug - saying the hives were probably a reaction to something I ate. She was wrong - as soon as I stopped the Wellbutrin, the hives went away.

Hope this helps.
