Too much lexapro.

Does anyone else find the high frequency of lexapro posts somewhat unnerving? If I were a psychiatrist I would stay away from such a new drug until there was more information about its action, and only prescribe it for people who were willing after I had told them that I had little experience with the drug.
I realize that doctors do need to try new drugs, but it seems to me that there are a lot of psychiatrists treating their patients as guinea pigs.
