yet another effexor question

been on effexor for one month(75mg).
hands no longer shake
started sleeping again(without trazodone)
eating again.
thoughts of self injuury keep creeping up on me!
i have came very close-to close...
dont want to go down that road again(its been 4 years)
dont want to stop taking effexor-its helping me..
feel confused..
