Vitamin E MAY work. Emphasis may. It may. It may not. And nothing has been proven either way. I started 1000 IU of it two weeks ago after getting a breakout of white outs, and now there's no acne on my face. I also combined this with 10% benzoyl peroxide. I think the combination helped.
It won't hurt, though. It helps the immune system apparently. Heart especially. Since acne is due to infection, this is probably why it helps to work.
I'd check out a dermatologist though. Differin or Retin-A can help. Although I'm not sure why it matters, I mean, it's not your face? I have some acne on my chest, I don't even bother doing anything to it.
