Hi Linkage... you can get tianeptine either through your physician if he has a European connection, or there are also ways to get it directly. I can't be specific, as Dr. Bob will get after me, but just look a little.
Because it seems to have a direct effect on reducing the stress response and protecting the hippocampus, research on tianeptine's effects on animal brains is going on at Rockefeller University and the Max Planck Institute of Biology in Germany, to name the two I know of. An abstract which will give you a general view of its use in people is: "Tianeptine.
